You may have read recently about the refurbishment of the digital advertising display at Central London’s Piccadilly Circus. The display, which has been called Piccadilly Lights since it first opened in 1908, has been dark the past nine months as the old LED screens were removed and a single, 4K-resolution, 2,600-square-foot screen has been installed. The new screen was made here in the U.S.A. by South Dakota’s Daktronics. London-based Ocean Outdoor is the company in charge of the project, and it says it will relight the screen sometime this month. Watch what it will look like when the biggest screen in Europe is once again dominating this iconic London landmark.
