Miami, Florida-based AdMobilize, an “audience intelligence” company serving the digital signage industry, announces the release of its Vehicle Recognition Engine, which it says will detect and recognize vehicles in real time.
The company says the product will allow out-of-home (OOH) and digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertisers and media companies to more effectively target audiences to receive their message.
AdMobilize says the software can detect the types of vehicles that are on the road at the rate of hundreds a minute. That data is then transferred into an algorithm that allows advertisers to target those particular vehicles in real time.
The introduction of the technology comes after years and tens of thousands of engineering hours, according to AdMobile co-founder and CEO Rodolfo Saccoman.
“The sheer computing power and the deep algorithms required to track, identify, recognize, and display hundreds of cars per minute, with exceptional accuracy, is enormous,” says Saccoman. “Our Vehicle Recognition Engine, like all of our solutions, is designed for scalability—running on low processing-power devices, ensuring minimal capital expenditures and maximum measurement accuracy.”
