Advance Corporation, Cottage Grove, Minn., is celebrating its 70th anniversary as a company. Founded in 1941 by William Lorenz as a manufacturer of flexographic products, Advance has enjoyed continued growth and product evolution since its founding.
The products that Advance currently markets are engineered and manufactured by experienced staff and sold through its three divisions. The Braille-Tac Division produces architecturally designed interior/exterior way-finding sign systems as well as standard and custom ADA compliant signs. These sign orders emanate from designers, architects, builders and sign companies, and are all manufactured to meet or exceed ADA specifications. The Awards division manufactures a complete line of recognition awards sold through Promotional Products distributors. The Identification Products Division works closely with the printing industry, and produces magnesium and zinc dies for foil stamping and embossing.
