Wide-format printer manufacturer Agfa Graphics, based in Belgium, but with U.S. operations in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, recently played host to more than 300 print service providers and other interested parties at its headquarters outside Antwerp.
The so-called Red Carpet Event was to show visitors the debut of the company’s new flagship printer, the Jeti Tauro H3300LED. The company says the hybrid UV inkjet printer produces stunning prints on media up to 3.3 meters—approximately 11’—at speeds up to 453 sq. m./hr (approximately 1,500 sq. ft./hr).
In addition to the printer, Agfa showed off all its other wide-format inkjet printers in action in its demo center, which included its UV inks, dedicated workflow software and finishing solutions.
The Red Carpet Event was done in conjunction with the FESPA show, at which the company debuted its new EXTREME campaign: “Extreme productivity. Extreme quality.”
