Dallas-based Appspace, a digital content management and delivery platform devoper, is teaming up with Los Gatos, California-based BrightSign, a digital signage media player manufacturer, to enable BrightSign players to integrate with Appspace’s products.
Available in the cloud or entirely on-premises, the Appspace platform manages content—including digital signage and video—and distributes it to televisions, mobile devices, and notebook and desktop computers. Appspace is used globally, including by seven of the top 10 Fortune 500 companies, for uses such as workplace communications, guest communications and retail signage.
“We’re excited to have the BrightSign players in the portfolio of devices that work with Appspace, says Stan Stephens, Appspace’s chief science officer. “BrightSign devices deliver features that are must-haves for many customers—enterprises in particular—such as multicast streaming and full functionality without an Internet connection.”
