“Reserved for individuals within the top tier of leadership of their organizations, the C-Suite Awards are intended to recognize and celebrate high-level accomplishments, effective leadership and significant community contributions within businesses and nonprofits throughout Northwest Arkansas,” the publication writes in introducing this year’s award recipients. “Within the 2016 class, the industries of technology, retail, tourism, trade, construction, food production, signage and banking are represented, and the recipients have an estimated 270 years’ combined experience among them.”
A native of Rogers, Tucker began Best Sign Group in 1994 as a banner and sign shop. As she notes in her bio, she was 23 with $500 and no business plan, and it’s been profitable every year since.
“For the last few years, I have been hearing from the business community that there is life after the Forty Under 40 (another award the publication gives out),” Paul Gatling, the publication's editor, said when he announced the launch of the C-Suite Awards last year. “I believe it is time that we recognize outstanding C-Level leadership and give credit to those individuals who have helped form the business landscape we enjoy today.
