Pressure-sensitive vinyl films manufacturer, Arlon, Santa Ana, Calif., recently held a corporate campaign to raise money for the fight against breast cancer, doubling the firm’s initial goal. The campaign started Oct. 1, 2010, and ended in December, just prior to the holidays.
Arlon held its campaign internally, but expanded its efforts at its booth at the recent SGIA tradeshow in Las Vegas in order to raise money to support the cause. Anyone who donated received a pink bracelet, and all money that was donated was sent to the Susan G. Komen - For the Cure Foundation.
“Arlon believes it is our duty to be a good corporate citizen and look after the many people who have been affected by cancer,” says Ron Hopkins, President, Arlon. “The Susan G. Komen Foundation gives us a great opportunity to support those in need.”
