Avery Dennison Announces Launch of New Wrap Business Boot Camp

Mentor, Ohio-based Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announces the launch of a new Business Boot Camp aimed at teaching wrappers how to successfully run a wrap business.

The two-day course is geared toward both installers who want to learn how to start and run a successful wraps business and those business owners and other wrap professionals who want expert advice on improving efficiency and increasing profits.

Avery Dennison says it worked closely with industry veterans Justin Pate of The Wrap Institute and John Duever of Vinyl Images & Design on developing the two-day educational event. Those two will lead the classes and guest speakers will bring in added expertise. Already lined up are Dallas Fowler of Digital EFX, who will address wrap design and production; Paul Roba, OEM relationship manager at Avery Dennison, who will teach attendees about digital printing and lamination; and Austin Smith, founder of the Paint Is Dead network and president of #201WRAP, who will speak about branding and marketing a wrap business as well as up-selling services.

The first Business Boot Camp for Wrap Professionals will be held Friday and Saturday, May 18-19, at Car Wrap City in Dallas. A full course description and registration information are available at graphics.averydennison.com/bootcamp. After hours on the evening of the first day attendees will have the opportunity to network with the guest speakers and members of the Avery Dennison Graphics Team during a reception.

“At Avery Dennison, we are listening to our customers and developing the products and training they need to succeed,” says Bill Podojil, senior business director for Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions North America. “Wrap installers and wrap shop owners have told us they’d like to be more effective and efficient, while learning to upsell and enhance their marketing. Those topics and many more regarding day-to-day business operations are included in the new two-day Business Bootcamp.”
