Louisville, Kentucky-based ChromaLuxe, a manufacturer of high-definition sublimatable photo panels, announces its plans to sponsor the Jay Maisel 60-Year Restrospective—an exhibit featuring 30 photos from the 60-year body of work by legendary photographer Jay Maisel. In collaboration with fine art printing company Blazing Editions, all images for the show will be printed on ChromaLuxe metal prints.
Paul Neumann, CEO of ChromaLuxe parent company Universal Woods Inc., says that Maisel’s portfolio and the company’s product are a natural fit.
“ChromaLuxe is humbled to host this event in honor of Jay Maisel. His use of light and color along with the vibrancy and detail of ChromaLuxe metal prints provide an image of unmatched quality,” he adds. “The durability and archivability of ChromaLuxe metal prints will ensure that (Maisel’s) work will be enjoyed for generations to come.”
The exhibition is being held in conjunction with the 2016 PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo this week, Oct. 20-22, at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Gallery hours are Thursday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jay Maisel will be present at the invitation-only opening reception on Thursday, October 20.
