Clear Channel Airports, a subsidiary of New York City-based billboard and signage giant Clear Channel Outdoor, announces the signing of a new five-year partnership—with annual one-year options—with the Des Moines International Airport.
The company is being hired to install a new advertising network at the airport that will reach some 2.5 million travelers annually.
CCA has been serving the Des Moines International Airport since 2007. Under the new agreement, it will be installing three state-of-the-art LED video walls; one 75-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) screen; and one digital information center with a 75-inch LCD. Static enhancements to the airport’s signage will include lit tension fabric displays; non-lit tension fabric displays; and other theming and design elements.
“Des Moines is the fastest growing city in the Midwest so it’s a very exciting time to work with Des Moines International Airport,” says Morten Gotterup, president of Clear Channel Airports. “Having worked with the airport for 10 years now, our team has seen first hand the extraordinary growth and development of the city. We are impressed by (the airport’s) dedication to providing its customers with the kinds of innovative, advanced advertising experiences they’ve come to expect while traveling through the airport.”
