Denver-based Digital2You, a distributor of a variety of digital printing products geared toward the dye-sublimation market, including printers, inks and media, announces two upcoming classes during the month of September, as well as an open house.
The first class on Wednesday, Sept. 18, is “Dye Sublimation 201—Intermediate to Advanced Techniques.” Some of the topics to be covered include an expanded, detailed look at the dye sublimation process, including RIPS and color profiling; employing best practices to establish a consistent quality control system; and advanced problem solving and troubleshooting.
According to the company, the classes are taught by industry professionals in a small class environment and include printed materials as well as hands-on experience working with the company’s state-of-the-art digital imaging and printing equipment. Each class is archived for future reference, as well, the company says.
That class will be from 9-5 on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The cost is $299 and includes lunch and refreshments.
