Carrollton, Texas-based sign shop franchisor FASTSIGNS announces that 2015 was a record-breaking year for the company.
Global revenues hit $400 million – an all-time high. The company also surpassed 600 locations.
FASTSIGNS reports that during 2015 it signed more than 50 franchise agreements and opened more than 40 units.
CEO Catherine Monson says she expects expansion to continue in 2016, not just in the U.S. but in key international markets, because of the rising worldwide need for visual communication and digital signage technology. The company opened its first center in Dubai in June 2015 and continues to seek growth opportunities in Central and South America, Southeast Asia, Europe, India, Mexico, the Middle East and the UK.
Monson says she expects another 60 to 70 openings in 2016, along with finalizing two master franchise agreements in two new countries.
