Carrollton, Texas-based sign shop franchise company FASTSIGNS announces that it recently hosted G7 Certification training at its headquarters for FASTSIGNS franchisees.
The G7 certification, operated globally by the nonprofit trade association IDEAlliance, is an internationally recognized methodology by which print shops calibrate gray balance to achieve a natural gray, ensuring that all the other colors will appear accurate to the human eye. The certification has been gaining in popularity as more businesses seek certified providers to guarantee consistent imagery in their marketing collateral.
FASTSIGNS recently launched a program for G7-certified experts to train franchisees in the fields of color management, process and quality control for proofing and printing. Those with G7 Expert certification are qualified to perform the G7 Master Qualification, which is granted to print facilities proven capable of performing the G7 methodology on printers, presses or proofing systems.
