Toronto-based digital signage network company Cineplex Digital Media announces it has been chosen by what it says is the world’s largest independent McDonald’s franchise, Arcos Dorados, to install digital screens at the company’s restaurants in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
CDM will be deploying, maintaining and operating the network of digital menu boards, which will be installed at McDonald’s front counters, McCafés, dessert centers and crew break room locations. It will work with Arcos on developing the content, which will be displayed in both Portuguese and Spanish, and CDM’s proprietary platform will enable both centralized and location-specific programming of content.
To date, CDM has launched its digital menu boards at new store locations across Brazil and Argentina, with plans to launch in Uruguay this year. Thousands of digital screens will be installed over the next three years.
