New York City-based OUTFRONT Media, an out-of-home media company with more than 400,000 installations across the U.S., announces a new media campaign with Ford Motor Company that stresses the customer personalization aspect of the carmaker’s 2018 line of Mustangs.
Ford has set up a website it calls the “Pony Personalizer” where consumers can go and create their own custom design look for the car. The company will choose some consumer designs and feature them on OUTFRONT billboards in eight major-market U.S. cities.
The Pony Personalizer enables fans to design their own look for the Mustang Pony and then order prints, clothing, or even a limited-edition grille badge they can have put on their late-model Mustangs.
The OUTFRONT campaign, which runs through July, will feature these designs on billboards in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Phoenix, San Antonio and Orlando, along with the first name and last initial of the person who created it.
