Hanover Park, Illinois-based Fujifilm North America, a division of the global supplier of drop-on-demand inkjet printheads for industrial applications, announces that Nick Roder has joined its graphic systems division. Roder is the new national sales manager for the company’s Acuity line of wide-format presses.
Launched in 2007, Fujifilm’s Acuity line of flatbed presses have been the company’s mainstay in the UV inkjet flatbed printers, delivering what the company calls “near-photographic quality” images on rigid, flexible and roll media.
Roder has more than 30 years experience in the graphics industry, and his background includes leadership positions, sales and new product launches.
“I’m excited to be joining Fujifilm,” says Roder. “The Acuity product family of wide-format presses is a growing segment in this marketplace, and my team and I are eager to take this innovative series to the next level. Print service providers can experience tremendous profit margins with an Acuity press, and the opportunities are endless. The Acuity platform provides a truly flexible production system that delivers consistent results, reliable production performance and economical cost-in-use.”
