Cannon Falls, Minnesota-based Gemini, a manufacturer of dimensional letters, logos and plaques, announces a new partnership with Minneapolis-based custom typeface designer Chank Diesel, who’s worked with such prominent global brands as Ben & Jerry’s, Target, Indian Motorcycle, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Hunger Games and PBS Kids, among others.

Through the partnership Gemini will offer an exclusive line of Chank Diesel typeface styles for its standard dimensional cast metal letter product line, while web fonts for the same styles are available online.

The Chank Diesel line of cast aluminum and bronze metal letters comprise a collection of ten Chank styles that are optimized for use in elegant and everlasting dimensional signage applications, from building identification and dedication to branding for brick and mortar establishments ranging from universities, financial institutions, churches to elementary schools.

“With the broadest offering of typeface styles for cast metal letters in the industry, Gemini is committed to offering its authorized resellers and their customers not only the widest choice of dimensional letter typeface styles for their diverse signage needs, but also forward-thinking, ‘next generation’ designs we hope will inject a much-needed sense of design and style into the cast letter foundry industry,” says Kenan Hanhan, vice president of marketing for Gemini. “Our partnership with Chank allows us to offer ever more choice while collaborating with a globally recognized typeface design thought leader to bring modern flair to one of the oldest dimensional metal letter product categories.”

The Chank Diesel family of typeface styles Gemini is now offering includes Adrianna Demibold; Adrianna Bold; Adrianna Extrabold; Fairbanks; Forward Thinking; Hydropower Extracondensed; Kegger; Shopaganda Regular; Shopaganda Condensed; and Timeless Geometric. While these exclusive Chank Diesel typeface styles are available as part of Gemini’s standard cast metal offering, they are also available in many other plastic and metal materials that Gemini offers, leveraging a broad variety of manufacturing methods.

“I am truly excited about my collaboration with Gemini,” Diesel says. “These exclusive typeface styles provide Gemini’s authorized resellers with unique options for their clients’ signage needs, communicating visually in a permanent and traditional way, while also displaying personality and distinction.”
