Cannon Falls, Minnesota-based Gemini, will host an event as part of Manufacturing Day 2019 on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The manufacturer of dimensional letters, plaques, and logos encourages students from the surrounding area to visit its facility in Decorah, Iowa, in hopes of inspiring them to pursue technology-based careers in manufacturing.
According to Gemini, the company has, for several years, actively supported STEM/STEAM-related programs in the surrounding schools where it has manufacturing plants.
“We know that this is our future labor force and want to do everything we can to support it, whether it be providing tours, sponsorships, scholarships, mentoring, and direct charitable donations that will aid schools in purchasing equipment and developing STEM related programs,” the company says.
This event is invitation-only. For more information, visit www.mfgday.com/events/2019/gemini-inc.
