Connecticut-based foam board manufacturer Gilman Brothers and digital table cutter maker Zünd America have formed a strategic partnership that the companies say will change the face of product development.
Gilman Brothers installed a Zünd G3 digital cutter at its new Customer Experience Center at its headquarters in Gilman, Connecticut.
Having the Zünd cutter in-house for use anytime will allow Gilman Brothers to test it out on a wide variety of rigid materials, the companies say. In return, Zünd will have an East Coast demonstration location and facility to better serve its existing and potential clients.
"Having a Zünd at our HQ allows for immediate response to customer needs such as prototyping, design, comparison testing and unlimited flexibility working with designers around the globe," says Bill VanHorn, director of sales for Gilman Brothers.
Zünd supports thousands of customers all over the U.S. and Canada in graphics, packaging, leather, textiles/composites, manufacturing, and other industries that rely on Zünd cutters for precise, efficient digital cutting.
“Between Gilman’s rigid materials and Zünd’s versatility with cutting, anything is possible to create,” says Dan Cantrell, national sales manager for Zünd America.
The Zünd G3-2500 Cutter is a multifunctional machine designed for industrial use with the technology and build for high-volume, 24/7 production.
