Dallas-based GSG (Graphic Solutions Group), a supplier to the screen, sign, digital imaging and embroidery industries, will offer classes in July that may be of interest to readers of Sign & Digital Graphics. The classes are held at various company locations and are offered through its GSG U program.
On Thursday, July 15, there is a class called Heat Transfer Materials where you can learn everything you need to be successful from the experts at Siser. Gain knowledge about the heat transfer industry, decorating techniques, substrate examples and more. You’ll also learn about equipment and layering effects. This class will take place at GSG’s Austin, Texas, facility.
On Thursday, July 21, there will be an Intro To Screen Printing class at GSG’s Houston facility. This class will walk attendees through the step-by-step process of apparel screen printing. Using a combination of lecture and hands-on training, the instructor covers film options, screen making, inks, press setup and registration, printing techniques, and trouble-shooting.
On Thursday and Friday, July 21 and 22, Auto Wrap classes will be held at the company’s Oklahoma City location. Jeff Wagner, a 3M-certified installer, will teach the classes. Topics include design, choosing materials, and surface prep. Day two of the classes will include a full-wrap install.
