High School Stadium Adds Trans-Lux Video Scoreboard


Gainesville High School, Gainesville, Texas announces that it has added a new high-resolution outdoor LED display scoreboard to its stadium. The new LED-based video display board, made by Trans-Lux Corp., Norwalk, Conn., was installed at the south end of the school’s Leopard Stadium by Olen Williams Inc., an authorized Trans-Lux reseller.

The TL Vision 20mm LED display measures 112 x 224 pixels and features electronic team names, sponsor signage and a field identification sign. The unit allows for viewing from the entire length of the football field, with a viewing angle of 140°. In addition to the Trans-Lux LED display, the new stadium features synthetic turf, an eight-lane track, an air-conditioned press box and has a seating capacity of 4,160.
