Interactive Customer Experience Association Seeks Nominees for 2019 Elevate Awards


The Louisville, Kentucky-based Interactive Customer Experience (ICX) Association, a nonprofit organization connecting brands, suppliers and agencies whose focus is on interactive customer experiences in commercial and retail settings, is now accepting nominations for its annual Elevate Awards.

The ICX Association says its Elevate Awards were created to honor the individuals and organizations that are pacesetters in using technology to elevate the customer experience.

Any interested company, regardless of ICX Association membership status, is welcome to submit an entry for an Elevate Awards. The cost to enter is $200 per category for members and $250 for non-members. The deadline to submit nominations is March 31.

2019 Elevate Awards Categories

Best Kiosk ICX—This category recognizes achievement in self-service kiosk-based interactive customer experiences that create innovative and engaging brand experiences that solve a challenge or provide a new method of customer interaction.

Best Mobile ICX—This category recognizes achievement in mobile platform-based interactive customer experiences that captivate and engage your audience and extend your brand's or client’s presence into the most important devices in your customers’ lives.

Best Digital Signage ICX—This category recognizes achievement in screen-based customer experiences that create the brand experience in-store or in-venue or extend the brand experience into the digital out-of-home environment.

Best Retail ICX—This category recognizes retail-specific achievement in using interactive technologies to create a transcendent brand experience that captivates and engages in the retail vertical.

Best Restaurant ICX—This category recognizes restaurant- or foodservice-specific achievement in using interactive technologies to create a transcendent brand experience that captivates and engages in the foodservice vertical, from concession stands to fast casuals and beyond.

Best Hotel/Hospitality ICX—This category recognizes hotel- and hospitality-specific achievement in using interactive technologies to create a transcendent brand experience that captivates and engages in the hospitality vertical.

Best Emerging Technology in ICX—Does your customer-facing deployment feature artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), or internet of things (IoT) functionality, or some other cutting-edge technology? If your brand or brand-client interactive customer experience is pushing the boundaries of what’s captivating customers in the marketplace, this category recognizes achievement in deploying emerging tech in interactive customer experiences. Best Omnichannel ICX—This category recognizes omnichannel achievements in using interactive technologies to create a transcendent brand experience that captivates and engages customers across multiple channels, such as mobile, web and in-store.

Lyle Bunn Influencer of the Year Award—Submit nominations in this category to recognize individuals or companies that have contributed substantially to the field of interactive customer experience technology or to promoting the industry in a significant way. The award is named in honor of Lyle Bunn, a long-time consultant in the digital signage industry and a former SDG contributor who passed away in 2018. (There is no cost to submit a nomination in this category.)

 Winners are recognized during the annual ICX Summit, which this year is in June in Dallas.
