Switzerland-based large-format printer manufacturer swissQprint announces the expansion of its Chicago showroom.
The company says its Windy City showroom now features the company’s Impala LED and Nyala LED high-end printers, along with “Rob,” the company’s loading and unloading robot.
According to the company, these new large-format printers, which are manufactured in Switzerland, deliver improved precision and lower energy consumption because of their LED technology.
The company’s robotic loader and unloader, which it calls Rob, is meant for unattended printing, it says.
The swissQprint U.S. subsidiary is located in Elgin, Illinois, a half-hour drive away from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. It provides machine demonstrations, printing tests, technical advice and maintenance, as well as supplies of consumables and spare parts.
The company opened its Chicago headquarters last year, with hopes of making more inroads into the North American market. The facility is located at 2521 Technology Drive, Suite 210, Elgin, 60124. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
