Planar Adds to its Sales and Leadership Teams

Portland, Oregon-based digital display manufacturer Planar announces the addition of four new people to its sales and leadership teams.

Jay Flath will join Planar’s Northeast sales team, which is headed up by Amber King. Plath has nearly 15 years experience in the corporate audio/visual and digital signage industry, most recently having worked for Adtech Systems for 14 years. He will be serving the New England and Upstate New York region from his home base in Boston.

Chris Nelson will join Planar’s Washington D.C. team, where he will leverage his professional network to help expand the team’s reach throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Nelson has nearly 20 years experience working in regional sales roles in the AV industry, Most recently he was at Avocor, and prior to that Crestron and Electrosonic. He will be based out of Northern Virginia and joins Greg Haas and Marc Jones in managing Planar’s sales efforts across Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.

The company announces the promotion of Megan Riddle to sales director for the Southeast region. She was formerly a regional sales manager for the Washington D.C. area. In her new role, Riddle will oversee Planar’s sales efforts from Washington D.C. to Florida and the Caribbean.

Stephanie Hines joins Planar’s leadership team as general counsel. In that role she will manage human resources functions for Planar and Leyard’s international business. She most recently held an in-house legal advisor role at Biamp Systems, and before that worked at CLEAResult and was in private practice.
