Denver-based PrintReleaf, a software company that connects commercial printers with global reforestation projects, announces that its reforestation rate now exceeds 1,500 trees per day around the globe.
PrintReleaf claims to be the only technology platform that measures customers’ paper usage and certifiably reforests that usage on an equivalent basis. Its patented technology not only tracks paper consumption, but also monitors PrintReleaf reforestation partners to ensure fulfillment. The company’s customers can choose from among seven reforestation projects going on around the globe: in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, India, Ireland, Madagascar, Mexico, and the United States.
“The PrintReleaf reforestation rate—our most meaningful measure of success—now exceeds 1,500 standard trees planted per day,” says founder and CEO Jordan Darragh. “We attribute our success to the continuing adoption of PrintReleaf in the managed print services area, as well as a high number of commercial printers which began offering PrintReleaf since its introduction to the commercial print market at (a trade show in Chicago in 2017). Today, more than ever before, commercial printers and managed print services providers make PrintReleaf available to end users and print buyers.”
