Malvern, Pennsylvania-based Ricoh Americas Corp. announces that it has signed an agreement with Mimaki USA to distribute two of Mimaki’s flatbed inkjet printers, the JFX200-2513 and the JFX500-2131, through its distribution channels.
The printers are designed for high quality and larger output printing, according to the companies.
Ricoh says adding the printers from the Suwanee, Georgia-based company allows it to expand its hardware and software offerings for graphics communications providers interested in growing or creating a wide-format printing business.
Both printer models use abrasion-resistant UV inks that are durable in both indoor and outdoor conditions. They are capable of handling substrates up to 1.97” thick and 4.2’ x 8.2’ in size for the JFX200-2513 model and 6.9’ x 10’ for the JFX500-2131 model. The devices are operated from a one-stop control point located on the front of the device and feature a long-life, energy-saving UV-LED curing unit that helps save time and energy costs.
