Ricoh Europe, that continent’s division of Tokyo-based Ricoh, a manufacturer of commercial inkjet printheads and office imaging equipment, announces the opening of a new meeting center inside its Customer Experience Centre in Telford, England.
The company says it invites clients, partners and organizations to come and “co-create” at the 245-square-meter—approximately 803-square-foot—center. It says the space is designed to facilitate high-level global meetings as well as “private and focused collaborations.”
The meeting center incorporates a flexible, boardroom-style meeting room equipped with Ricoh technology including a projector, interactive whiteboard and a unified communications system for interactive video and audio conferencing, according to the company.
For between-meeting breaks, there’s a full kitchen, coffee lounge and informal seating area.
The company says it hopes the center will get a lot of use from the entire European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
“The door is always open, whatever operations may require a meeting space for,” says Eef de Ridder, director of commercial printing for the Commercial and Industrial Printing Group, Ricoh Europe. “We welcome clients, partners and individual organizations to use it as freely as they like.”
