Roland wide-format inkjet printing and contour cutting technology took center stage at the Roland University Born to Wrap vehicle graphics workshop held last month last month at the Roland DGA headquarters in Irvine, Calif.
Taught by industry experts Matt Richart and Dallas Fowler of Digital EFX Wraps, the sold-out workshop drew attendees from as far away as Canada and Nicaragua. Throughout the two-day course, customers learned valuable design and production techniques and gained experience installing a wide range of vehicle graphics on Dodge Calibers.
Now in its fifth year, the Born to Wrap workshop teaches professionals everything they need to know to profit from the growing vehicle graphics market. Working side by side with industry experts, students have the opportunity to wrap an entire vehicle from bumper to bumper. The class teaches attendees first-hand how to take a job from the estimation stage to finished wrap and also includes an overview of media and lamination options.
