Roland DGA Opens East Coast Imagination Center

Irvine, California-based Roland DGA, a manufacturer of wide-format digital printers, cutters and engraving machines, announces the opening of its new East Coast Imagination Center, located in Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Located about 15 miles from Boston, the 3,500-square-foot facility doubles as a training center and sample production site for Roland resellers and customers.

Roland DGA president Rick Scrimger says that since more than 70 percent of the company’s domestic customer base is located east of the Mississippi River, the new facility creates an accessible location for potential customers and existing clients to see the company’s products in action.

“The facility will serve to support our dealers in the eastern U.S., as well as inspire end users within that region,” says Scrimger.

The new Imagination Center features a creative center gallery which is open to the general public. It allows visitors to see actual examples of Roland’s creative output and get a firsthand look at what the company’s equipment does.

Scott Burgess, the company’s former northeast account manager, takes over as the facility’s manager and Mike Guarino will now serve as the company’s new northeast service account manager.

The official grand opening for the facility will be announced at a later date, the company says.
