UK-based Signagelive, providers of a cloud-based digital signage platform as well as Software-as-a-Service technology, announces that it has been chosen by Ontario, Canada-based IDS Canada, a health care communications company that serves clinics, hospitals and
doctor’s offices, to power more of IDS’s digital waiting room posters, bringing the total to 200-plus screens nationally.
An additional 50 digital poster screens will be installed in Vancouver and Montreal.
Signagelive uses its SoC (System on a Chip) and HTML5 software to power the network, which is based on the Samsung Smart Signage Platform.
IDS Canada says it plans on adding even more screens once this current installation is complete. The company will have another 50 screens added in Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton by early 2017.
Signagelive’s cloud-based SoC and HTML5 software power the network over the Samsung Smart Signage Platform, delivering content to the different display types and configurations over the Internet, removing the need for any onsite media players and delivering significant savings compared to more conventional digital signage solutions.
Signagelive’s software offers full support for different content formats, including static images, animated videos, web pages, IPTV, multi-zoning for different media types, image layering, RSS feeds, portrait support and screen on and off control. It also comprises interactive capabilities enabling digital signage network owners to take their promotional activities to the next level to encourage engagement.
Once this latest round of installations is complete the network will be generating more than two million consumer impressions per month.
