Denver-based SpeedPro Imaging, a large-format graphics franchise company, announces it has signed another franchise deal in the greater Chicago market, this one in Arlington Heights to serve the northwestern suburbs.
This will be the sixth studio in the Chicago area, with plans for two to four more in the next few years, the company says.
Randy Davidson is SpeedPro’s newest franchisee. Previously he owned 4th & 23rd Restaurant, a blues and jazz venue in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and he also worked at a media company in Tuscaloosa—Randall-Reilly—that produces trade shows, events and national conferences. Davidson was director of events there.
His wife had been commuting weekly by air to Illinois for her job, so the couple decided to move to Chicago from Alabama, and Davidson discovered SpeedPro Imaging and decided to buy a franchise.

SpeedPro currently has more than 125 studios nationwide in 31 states, nearly a third of which have opened in the last three years.
