SPGPrints’ Manufacturing Doubles in Size for Second Time in Two Years

SPGPrints, a manufacturer of screen and digital printing systems based in the Netherlands, announces that it has doubled the size of its digital ink production facility in Boxmeer, near its corporate headquarters. It’s the second time the facility has doubled in size in the past two years.

Scheduled to open in the final quarter of 2017, the expanded facility is part of a $9.1 million capital investment program by the company, which also includes the building of a new “experience center,” dedicated to driving innovation in digital textile printing.

The company manufactures inks to cover the full range of textile applications, including reactive, acid, disperse and sublimation inks.

The new expanded facility is about 3,300 square feet. The expanded manufacturing building is located near both SPGPrints’ R&D facility and its corporate headquarters. The expansion will lead to the hiring of more people, the company says.
