Students Get Real Wrap Experience

Digital Printer maker Mutoh America, with help from sponsor by digital films maker Avery Dennison, Painesville, Ohio., held the first of six planned Hands-On School of Wrap vehicle wrap training seminars March 11-12 at Avery’s facility in Mentor, Ohio.

“I enjoyed learning from Justin Pate,” says Dave Hearn of Hard Rock Wraps, Dearborn, Mo. “The real-world training from Justin gave me insight into what it takes to become a good wrapper.”

Students at all the Mutoh Hands-On School of Wrap seminars will work with Avery MPI 1005 Supercast film laminated with DOL 1360 Gloss, a 1.3 mil overlaminate. Graphics at the seminars are printed on a Mutoh ValueJet 1614-64 printer.

Upcoming seminars take place May 10-12 at SignWarehouse.com, Denison, Texas; June 7-9 at Seal Neschen Americas, Elkridge Md.; Aug 16-18 at Graphics One, Burbank, Calif.; Oct. 18-20 at Avery Graphics, Painesville, Ohio; and Dec 9-11 at, Mutoh America, Phoenix.
