Apparently the printing and graphics business is a solid one when it comes to veterans retiring from the military and going into the business world.
Franchise Business Review says that one in eight franchises nationwide is owned by a veteran.
“Owning a franchise business requires many different skills—the ability to follow established systems and processes, the ability to lead and motivate employees, and the ability to work with many types of people. In many ways, the military cultivates the ideal franchisee,” the company wrote in the explanation to its list.
To identify the top brands, the company analyzed 18 months of data from approximately 25,000 Veteran franchise owners representing more than 250 brands regarding their overall satisfaction with their brands and their likelihood to recommend them to others.
The franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training and support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.
