Zünd America Opens New Headquarters

Zünd America, a manufacturer of digital table cutting equipment and supplies based in Switzerland, announces the opening of its brand new headquarters facility in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, about 13 miles away from its former home in Franklin.

The new facility is almost 60,000 square feet, nearly triple the size of the old location.

The new, high-tech building will house the company’s more than 80 employees and will contain Zünd’s expanded demonstration and training facilities; customer service and support; parts and consumables warehousing and logistics; as well as administrative offices.

“This impressive, state-of-the art facility represents a tremendous investment in the future of our company,” says Dan Ryan, Zünd America’s CEO. “With nearly 10,000 square feet devoted to demonstrations and training, the new customer experience center is very much the centerpiece of the new building; nonetheless, the greater space and efficiencies it affords all other departments will allow us to continue supporting our rapidly growing customer base in the U.S.A., Canada and the Caribbean for years to come and deliver the world-class service for which Zünd is known.”

Zünd America was founded in 2004 with a small handful of employees as a sister company to Zünd Systemtechnik AG in Altstätten, Switzerland.

The company says the design of its new building is also a reflection of Zünd’s environmental values, incorporating high-efficiency glass panels, and HVAC and building automation systems for light, shade, and temperature control. There is also plenty of room for future expansions of its headquarters, the company says.

Zünd America celebrated its new facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 15.
