Kempf’s winning entry was a wrapped Lamborghini Huracan called “Psycho Hurricane.” He beat out 172 other installers from 25 countries to earn the title of King of the Wrap World 2015.
Kempf used Avery Dennison Conform Chrome Silver and Black in addition to DOL 1370 luster overlaminate and HV 1200 black reflective film to complete his entry.
“It’s such an honor to be chosen as the King of the Wrap World,” Kempf says. “We worked so hard on Psycho Hurricane and are thrilled to be recognized as the winner. The car has been seen all over the world and has been on the cover of magazines, but being crowned the ultimate winner and King of the Wrap World is one of the industry’s highest honors.”
Kempf was awarded his prize at the recent SEMA show in Las Vegas. As a regional finalist he had won a prize package worth $3,500 that included a three-night stay in Las Vegas during the show, an Avery Dennison wrap class of his choice, some Avery Dennison Wrap Like a King swag and a meet-and-greet autograph session with Ryan Friedlinghaus from West Coast Customs. As King, Kempf receives an additional $1,000 cash prize, a King of the Wrap World trophy, and almost $1,000 worth of marketing support from Avery Dennison, including Facebook ads, exposure on the company’s website and a print ad in in the upcoming Wraps 2016 magazine, which publishes in February.
2015 Wrap Like a King judges included Friedlinghaus, Eric Ide, Markus-Marcel Knoch, Myles Kovacs, Justin Pate, Adrian Rope and Molly Waters.
