Phoenix-based wide-format printer and cutter maker Mutoh announces that it is once again teaming up with Glendale, California-based Avery Dennison, a maker of graphic films, on a series of car wrap training classes to be held around the country in 2016.
The Avery Dennison/Mutoh Car Wrap Training Program is designed to provide wrap installers with an in-depth understanding of graphic installation mechanics to gain a competitive advantage in the vehicle wrap industry. The three-day workshops (which includes an optional third day for design instruction and a certification test) will focus on all the critical steps needed to improve the quality and speed of car wrap installations. The classes will be taught by master installer Justin Pate.
The companies have announced the first six months of classes, and they will be:
- Feb. 15-16 in Carrollton, Texas
- Feb. 24-25 in Acworth, Georgia
- Mar. 3-4 in Wharton, New Jersey
- Mar. 14-15 in Rancho Santa Margarita, California
- Apr. 11-12 in Beverly, Massachusetts
- Apr.l 25-26 in Chicago
- May 16-17 in Freedom, Wisconsin
- May 19-20 in Denver
- June 13-14 in Phoenix
- June 20-21 in Millville, New Jersey
Class sizes will be limited to allow for more one-on-one teaching. Training starts at $749, and all attendees will receive a 25-yard roll of full print or color image film and application tools—a $700 value.
