Wrap films manufacturer 3M Commercial Solutions, St. Paul Minnesota, announces the winners of its second annual Wrap2Wrap Battle: Casey Folk of PDX Wraps, Sherwood, Oregon, and Jamie Mullican of WrapArtist.com, Nashville, Tennessee.

The 3M Wrap2Wrap Battle was open to installers of 3M Wrap Film Series 1080 from around the country, and early rounds were voted on by wrap fans from around the country. After the opening round and through round four, the competition was whittled down as contestants were put into brackets and competed directly against each other. Folk and Mullican were chosen as the two finalists and competed in head-to-head competition on the floor of the 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas.

A distinguished panel of judges, including Rutledge Wood, co-host of Top Gear and Lost in Transmission; Jeremy McGrath, AMA Supercross Champion; “Hot Rod Ali” Youngblood, hot rod race car driver; Steve Hargitai, 2014 Wrap2Wrap winner; and Adam Sumner, 3M authorized trainer; judged the respective cars based on their compelling story, uniqueness of design, color choices and overall look and appeal. The judges decided that both Folk and Mullican were deserving enough to be crowned co-champions.

Prize packages were worth more than $10,000 each and included an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2015 SEMA Show; a Master Proheat STC Surface Temperature Control Heat Gun Kit; a Geek Wraps prize package; a Geek Wraps Apple Box; two 25-yard rolls of 3M Wrap Film Series 1080; 3M Wrap Film Series 1080 S-curve Display; paid advertising on 3M Graphics’ social media accounts; and $1,000 in cash.

Assisting Folk and Mullican with their wrap installations were 3M preferred graphics installers John Deuver, Joshua Marquardt, Mingo Richter and Luis Tirado.

The finalists’ wrap entries can be seen on 3M Commercial Solutions’ Facebook or Instagram pages or at wrap2wrap.3m.com.
